Who Are You?
It’s easy to get caught up in an identity journey. Early on you are identified by your parents and family, with the next identity criteria coming from our actions or activities. What you discover is that you gain an identity from these elements which may be appreciated at the moment or may not, and even if they are fine – those identity determinations fade and evolve. This, along with many other items, can cause an identity crisis. This crisis is heightened if it is fueled by your feelings or some socially applauded experience. They create a fragile identity that can become tossed to and fro by the storms of life or the winds of seasons. Jesus desires to provide you with an identity that is enduring and endearing. Trade your self-acclaimed identity for his life proclaimed identity.
