Everyday there are things that need immediate attention, fires that you must work to put out. But you need to be on guard, those things can consume you. The immediate, though necessary, can begin to blind you to the blessings that God has surrounded you with. Look around you if need be - slow down or even stop for a moment. Can you see, hear, smell, taste, feel and sense the delights of Heaven that God brings near to you? This is the day to begin a focus of gratitude.
