You have invitations every day, some are external – those that invite you to join some group, activity or relationship. You know that you can’t say yes to everyone or everything, no matter how good, fun or exciting they may seem. There are some invitations that are colored beautifully to get your attention but beyond the glitter and smiles lies shadows and darkness. There are also internal invitations, which enter through your thoughts, attitudes and practices. Some of these can create an internal bondage to intoxicating presence. Wisdom, discernment and self-discipline are God infused qualities that aid your navigating all the opportunities.
