To be clear, Jesus knew what was coming. Up to this point, as he was making claims about being God and confirming that with miracles, he often told those who had received the miracle to not to tell anyone. It wasn’t time but now he was intentionally heading into the ‘lion’s den’, upping the intensity of his teaching, and moving toward the provision for all to have direct access to God and heaven. The ‘Pre-Game Party’ began with a humble victorious ride on a donkey colt walking upon the ground adorn with robes and palm tree branches. Accompanying this entry were the shouts of praise and celebration for the arrival of the King of Kings! Come & Praise!
