There are problems to solve, mountains to dominate and opportunities to be creative; and God provides everyone with specific talents and abilities. But it is easy to become caught up with and intoxicated by one’s own accomplishments and achievements. You can think of yourself, ‘more highly than you ought’ and lose focus on the one who provides insight, strength, wisdom, and opportunity. Even when things seem upside down and crazy, it’s good to ‘Check Your Direction’ and make sure you’re turning toward God.
