Alive with Hope!

Easter is the evidence of Hope, like the leaves are the evidence of spring! The beginning story of Easter sees darkness, cruelty, abandonment, brutality, betrayal, lies, manipulation, and death. Hope isn’t what you would naturally gather from a display of such experiences. A natural response would be to become cynical, angry, vengeful, bitter, and quick to spread venom to all you felt were responsible. But instead, Jesus’ death on the cross will declare the depth of his love for accusers, torturers, and followers alike. And rather than love dying, it will explode with hope this is triumphant over all hell has to give. The question is, what do you hold onto?
