No matter the age, we’ve all had the unwanted crush of circumstances that have overwhelmed our life. Those occasions that make you feel caught and move you toward feelings of desperation. In those moments, during those seasons we cry out to the Lord – pleading for relief and rescue. It is often these ‘Crisis of Faith’ that bring you to the crossroad of decision. In one direction you can go into protection mode to dull, insulate or eliminate the discomfort and pain. This is often the immediate reaction to harsh and hard situations. But there is an alternative action, even an invitation, to grab ahold of the ‘hand’ of God and trust him to lead you through the valley.
