Gladitude

From major to minor happenings, your life gets regular interruptions from those things that are ‘outside’ of you. Those ‘outside’ factors contribute to the experiences of your day and life. Those situations you and I can’t do much about. But for any outside factor to gain a foothold and control you, you must allow that ‘outside’ factor to become internalized. To make it an ‘internal’ factor, you must replay that ‘outside’ factor over and over again. Then meld it with your feelings of self-judgement, unfairness, personal condemnation and the constant feeding of the dark reflection fuel every depressive environment needs. One of the ways that ‘outside’ factors don’t gain such a dominating strangle hold of your mind and heart is to practice Gladitude! The intentional searching for what is joy filled and good, then becoming focused on the blessings you have gathered or witnessed. You have to fight for light & life!
