You often feel it is so, and you can look around to see the evidence of the dark's continual effort toward domination and destruction.  Then, when it turns toward a personal focus - targeting the slightest vulnerability that is discovered; darkness attempts to exploit every moment and each crevice.  The attacks seem endless, and you can feel weak and even hopeless; especially when you give into the tempting lures.  But to discover that at one point the arrogance of Darkness sensed vulnerability in the Light and formed a deceitful strategy, a plan to tempt beyond the boundaries of endurance! Jesus, not only surprised the Devil, foiled his plans, and destroyed his blind arrogance but also provided an avenue for your resistance and victory as well!
